These lines are form The Killers song "A Dustland Fairy Tale". I've had this song in my head for a year. This particular portion always gets to me:

This is an incredible line, and definitely my favorite since I first listened to this album. I wrote a blog about it too.
ReplyDeleteActually, I just looked that blog post up and it was posted on July 15th, last year. Almost one year ago. It was the day I felt God confirm that my wife and I were supposed to move from California to Des Moines, IA and accept a position leading worship at a church plant downtown.

I'm a HUGE Killers fan. Definitely my favorite band. Saw them in concert last fall. This was my first favorite songs off that album, and I still love it. Amazing songs from these guys.
